Industrial Handrail Systems

The modern industrial handrail system is absolutely essential to maintain adequate levels of safety within the workplace. From a general standpoint, these systems are comprised of three main components:

• The upper handrail.
• An intermediate rail (sometimes referred to as a knee rail).
• A toe plate.

Current standards dictate that the distance between two rails must not be in excess of 0.5 metres (500 millimetres). Naturally, we appreciate that these systems will be manufactured around the discrete needs of the customer in question. Therefore, a large selection of dimensions and materials will be provided.

Options When Choosing an Industrial Handrail System

The customer can select from a number of unique options based around his or her technical requirements. This is also very important to address the loads which the handrail is expected to accommodate. Some variations include 90-degree bends, ramps and return bends. A number of lengths are likewise available. These handrails can be fashioned from mild steel, aluminium or stainless steel. We are also pleased to supply base plates, infills, gates and specialised bends for unique working environments. Please speak with one of our representatives to learn more about what we can offer.
